Elementary Program

A.B.L.E. (Adolescents Building Literacy through Expression)

Teen Center

New Community for Children Wish List:

  • LCD Projector
  • Shredder
  • Easel
  • Dry Erase Boards
  • Office supplies (paper, pens, etc.)
  • Academic supplies for students (rulers, calculators, lined paper, etc.)
  • Art and enrichment supplies for students (markers, new or gently used card or board games, etc.)
  • Books for children and teens in good condition

Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions

Elementary Program:

Volunteer tutors work with one on one and with small groups of students each evening on homework and educational activities. Tutors typically work with the same student(s) each week, building lasting relationships and providing much-needed help. Up to forty-five students attend the center each evening, which will be staffed by a Site Coordinator and 1-2 program assistants

Fifteen to twenty-five students attend the center each evening, which will be staffed by a Program Coordinator and 1-2 program assistants.
